The 60-minute flight includes all of the best sites the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef have to offer. It’s easy to understand why the Great Barrier Reef is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the amazing contrast of colors is something that’s best experienced from the air. 

Taking off from Whitsunday Airport, your tour takes you over most of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. You'll see the island resorts dotted around the islands as you head toward Whitehaven Beach and the renowned Hill Inlet.

Enjoy two passes of Australia's best beach and then head out to the Great Barrier Reef. Included in your tour is the famous Heart Reef, nestled amongst the bright colors and patterns of Hardy Reef. On board, everyone enjoys a window seat, a pilot commentary and superb views from our fleet of high wing aircraft.

Sights include Shute Harbour, Hamilton Island, Hill Inlet, Whitehaven Beach, Heart Reef, Hook Reef, Hayman Island, Hook Island, and Daydream Island.

    I highly recommend, it was the best experience! Made our trip. Early morning is best as it’s pretty hot in the plan. We did the 8:30am trip

    so this company does not care about the customers. 2 times I had issues with them so DO NOT USE THIS... they cancel but for lame reasons and then do not help you to find a solutions they cancelled my flight the day before first due to lack of numbers then they moved me to another flight and they cancelled that due to weather. both may be legit but there was no support. when I asked for a refund so I could book elsewhere they said it may take up to three weeks. I said no you took the money out in one hour you can put it back in the same time. I had to book and find another. Lucky for me Ocean rafting saved me and gave me the flight I wanted.

    If you are staying at Airlie Beach or surrounds, this is a definite must, you will not regret it one bit. GSL Aviation provided a wonderful experience, scenic flight of Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef including Heart Reef. Jenny was a great ambassador, providing a pick up service and informative information relating to the flight and other attractions. Harry was a brilliant pilot, very impressed with flight including a sensational smooth landing for such a small plane. Obviously very skilled at these types of flights providing lots of information and ensuring that passengers were able to get iconic shots.

    Such an amazing experience. The best view of The Great Barrier Reef! A must do if you want to see one of the natural wonders of the world - and the pilot was so helpful in sharing his knowledge and getting us low to see the famous “Heart Reef”. If you’re on the other side of the plane he’ll make sure you also get to see on your side and will pass over it twice.

    Highly recommend! The flight is actually longer than advertised (added bonus!) and the views are spectacular! It's impossible to describe, you have to experience!

    Very professional team. The comments during the flight were very interesting. They also made me co pilote because the flight was on my birthday day and I didn’t ask for it. That was such a sweet attention.

    Absolute must do! Staff were brilliant from start to finish (shout out to Jenni and Liam) and the flight itself was awesome. Bucket list item for sure!

    For people that enjoy scenic flights this is well-worth the money. As long as the weather is bright and sunny, you'll be fine in the small plane. Overall a good experience and that's coming from someone who is afraid of heights.
