Centrepoint Cafe

Iconic local, Centrepoint Cafe on Victoria Street in Taree is a neighbourhood spot with real food style. Located in Centrepoint Arcade, this café adopts sustainability and ethical practices to ensure a negligible impact on the environment, right down to table tops made from recycled timber and reusable coffee cups. Waste from the café is used for compost by the Taree Community Garden instead of going to a landfill and all produce used for the menu is sourced within a 160 km radius, such as Rudi’s bacon and Hidden Valley free range eggs. Tuck into a breakfast plate of poached eggs, mushrooms, grilled cherry tomatoes, crispy bacon and wilted spinach on sourdough, or be tempted by lunch options like lightly toasted chicken panini with avocado, basil, Swiss cheese and tomato.
