The Jenke Vineyards Cellar door is located in picturesque Rowland Flat, right in the heart of the world-famous Barossa Valley wine region.
Only 5 minutes drive from Lyndoch or Tanunda, when you turn off the Barossa Valley Highway, a short vineyard trail weaves through rows of our premium fruit.
Here, we invite you to visit our 1850’s family home turned Cellar Door and discover the Jenke’s Barossa story and sample our new releases of single vineyard Semillon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, as well as older vintages from our Museum Range.
We are proud to say that the Jenke Vineyards cellar door and tasting room are still housed in the 1850’s Koch Cottage. This gorgeous, living piece of history shows original craftsmanship, window features, iron-work and architecture from Prussia, part of the German Empire.
You can marvel at how it has lasted – including the slate tiled roof which came out as ballast in the migrant ships, all the way from their homeland. It also has a remarkable cellar with a curved brick herringbone ceiling.
Our Cellar Door, Winery and other buildings on our property remain historical treasures of architecture and workmanship of the German craftsmen of that era.
